Chinmay Belthangady

Chinmay Belthangady is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of AI at Qualified Health since October 2024, focusing on generative AI applications for healthcare. Prior to this role, Chinmay was the founding Vice President of Data Science and Machine Learning at PrognomiQ Inc, where leadership was provided in AI-based biomarker discovery from extensive bio-molecular datasets for early disease detection. Chinmay also contributed as a Principal Data Scientist at Elevance Health, developing advanced algorithms for comparing treatment regimens, and served as a Senior Scientist at CZ Biohub, authoring significant research on deep-learning applications in microscopy. Earlier employment included a role as a Research Scientist at Verily, where innovative methods for medical imaging were developed. Chinmay holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University and a B.Tech in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
