Beth Rota has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Beth started their career in 2002 as a Wilderness Education Instructor at the Appalachian Mountain Club, where they worked until 2004. In 2006, they joined Garden City Harvest as a Community Education Director and stayed there until 2007. In the same year, they joined Quality Certification Services as a Policy and Quality Assurance Manager, a role they held until 2021. Currently, Beth is the Organic Program Director at Quality Certification Services.
Beth Rota received their Bachelor of Arts degree in International & Environmental Politics/German from Juniata College, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Beth further pursued their education at the University of Montana, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies from 2004 to 2007.

Quality Certification Services
QCS is the certification body of Florida Certified Organic Growers and Consumers Inc., a nonprofit organization that began certifying organic growers in 1987 and received its USDA accreditation in 2001.
