Valerian Giesz

Valerian Giesz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of photonics and nanotechnology. As a cofounder and Chief Operating Officer at Quandela since May 2017, Valerian has played a pivotal role in driving the company's vision. Additionally, Valerian co-founded and serves on the board of La French Tech Paris Saclay, contributing to the technology ecosystem since April 2019. Previous roles include research engineer at the Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies and a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School. Valerian holds engineering and doctoral degrees in photonics and nanotechnology from prestigious institutions, along with entrepreneurial training from HEC Paris.
