Richard A. Vaughan

Richard A. Vaughan, P.E., currently serves as Senior Vice President of Development at Quanta Services, Inc., a position held since January 2014, where responsibilities include identifying and developing new energy infrastructure projects. Previously, Richard held the role of Director of Pipeline Business Development at TransCanada from 2007 to 2013, managing business development activities for ANR Pipeline, ANR Storage, and Great Lakes Gas Transmission. Prior to that, Richard was the Director of Major Projects at El Paso from 2002 to 2007 and served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for El Paso Europe from 1996 to 2002, focusing on power generation and gas-related business development across Europe. Richard began a career at Tenneco Energy in various managerial roles from 1982 to 1995, gaining experience in pipeline construction management and project management. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Memphis and an MBA from the University of Houston.
