Kevin Gilmore is a highly experienced physicist currently serving as a Senior Advanced Physicist at Quantinuum since November 2021, following a role as an Advanced Physicist at Honeywell from February 2021 to November 2021. Prior to that, significant research was conducted as a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from June 2015 to February 2021, focusing on quantum sensing and simulation, as well as developing a compact alkali atom source. Academic foundations were established through various research assistant positions at Auburn University and Rice University, contributing to projects in plasma experiments and ultracold atom experiments. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Philosophy from Auburn University.
