Piyush Gupta has a strong background in software development and engineering. Piyush started their career at HSBC Global Technology India as a Software Engineer in 2005 and worked there until 2006. Piyush then joined BMW as an Intern in 2008. From 2010 to 2011, Piyush worked as a Software Engineer in Product Development at MSC Software. In 2011, they joined PTC as a Senior Software Engineer before moving to Bloomberg LP in 2012 where they served as a Team Lead for Trading Connectivity. After their tenure at Bloomberg LP, Piyush joined Quantitative Brokers in 2017 as a Senior Developer and later became the Lead Developer & Head of India in 2018.

Piyush Gupta received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from the National Institute of Technology Surat. Piyush then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. Currently, they are attending the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their education, Piyush holds certifications in Introduction to Eurodollar from CME Group and KDB Introductory workshop from Kx - a division of First Derivatives plc. Piyush has also completed courses in Introduction to Machine Learning and Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms using Python from NPTEL.
