Jex Fatin

Jex Fatin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries.

- Jex started their career as a member of the Australian National Rowing Team at Rowing Australia from 2013 to 2016.

- They then worked for Uber in an operations role from 2014 to 2017.

- From 2017 to 2020, Jex held various operations and strategy roles at different start-ups.

- In 2020, they joined VGW as an Associate Engineer, and later became an Engineer from 2021 to 2022.

- In 2021, Jex briefly worked as an Engineer at Checkmate Savings.

- They then joined Mr Yum as a Senior Engineer in 2022.

- Currently, Jex is working as an Engineering Lead (Acting) at Quantium, and will transition to the role of Engineering Lead in 2023.

Jex Fatin's education history includes a Master of Data Science from The University of Western Australia, with a focus on Machine Learning & Predictive Statistical Modelling. They also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the same university, specializing in Commercial Law. In addition, Jex earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from The University of Western Australia.

Furthermore, Jex has obtained several certifications. They are certified in Cyber Security from Quantium Academy and hold the title of GCP Certified Cloud Engineer, which they received from Google. They also have an AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a Google Analytics certification. Additionally, Jex is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and has completed the Sumo Logic Fundamentals course from Sumo Logic.
