Rachel Cates is an experienced design engineer with a strong background in CAD design and documentation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical industries. Currently at Quantum Design Inc. as a Design Engineer since May 2020, Rachel previously worked at Electrol Specialties Company as a CAD Designer, focusing on Clean In Place equipment in compliance with GMP requirements. Rachel's career includes roles at Precision Plus, Inc., where significant contributions were made to engineering standards and CAM software efficiency, as well as positions at Eclipse Combustion, Aqua Aerobics, and various engineering firms. Rachel holds a certificate in Fundamentals of Industrial Process Heating from Northampton Community College and a CADD degree from Gateway Technical College.
