Adam Asare's education history begins in 1985 when they enrolled in the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Adam pursued a combined Bachelor of Arts and Medicine degree program but did not obtain a specific degree. In 1988, they transferred to the University of Missouri-Columbia where they completed a Bachelor's in Journalism degree in 1992. Following this, Adam went on to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Medicine from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a PhD in Pathobiology and Bioinformatics.

These efforts were frequently left with no funds or organizational structure to adequately engage clinical providers and ultimately benefit patient care. In addition, the intellectual property often created as part of these research endeavors remain untapped and undeveloped.
