Yonatan Ben Gal

Silicone Photonics R&d at Quantum Source

Yonatan Ben Gal currently serves as a Physicist in Silicon Photonics R&D at Quantum Source since March 2023. Previously, Yonatan held several roles at Tel Aviv University from October 2017 to February 2024, including Teaching Assistant for physics lab and programming courses, and Research Assistant focused on building and analyzing physics simulations for the SENSEI Dark Matter detection project using C++ and the GEANT4 toolkit. Additionally, Yonatan managed social involvement projects as a Project Manager. Prior military experience includes serving as a Physical Training Officer and Krav Maga instructor in the Israel Defense Forces, with a reserve role as an Intelligence Officer. Yonatan holds a Master of Science in Physics, specializing in High Energy and Particle Physics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from Tel Aviv University.
