Salman Farooqui

Salman Farooqui is a skilled materials science professional with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape since March 2021, Salman previously held multiple roles at C3Nano, Inc., progressing from Process Technician to Process Engineer and then to Research and Development Engineer from March 2019 to February 2021. Key accomplishments include leading the development and characterization of UV-curable hardcoat products and optimizing processes that significantly reduced costs. Earlier experience includes a researcher position at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, where Salman developed a thermodynamic model for semiconductor alloys. Salman earned a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
