Sam Stansell

Sam Stansell is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape since April 2022. Prior to this role, Stansell worked at Intel Corporation as a Metrology and Defect Inspection Engineer from February 2020 to April 2022. Stansell also gained experience as an Applications Development Engineering Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2019, where significant contributions included developing robust process steps for sub-surface feature targeting for AI-driven TEM sample preparation. Stansell holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the University of Oregon (2018-2019) and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Western Washington University (2013-2018).
