Elvira Shishenina

President And Co-founder at QuantX

Elvira Shishenina has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum computing. Elvira is currently working as the Quantum Computing Team Lead at BMW Group since January 2021. Elvira is also a Co-founder of Les Maisons du Quantique and a Business Advisor at aqora, both starting in October 2023. In addition, they are the President of Le Lab Quantique since March 2022. Prior to these roles, Elvira was the President and co-founder of QuantX from March 2020. Elvira also worked as a Quantum Computing scientist at Total from July 2019 to December 2020. Elvira began their career as a PhD student at Inria from November 2015 to December 2018. Elvira also worked as a Research engineer at IPGG Russian Academy of Science & Baker Hughes from March 2010 to September 2011.

Elvira Shishenina completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Master of Science in Mechanics & Mathematical Modeling from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 2006 to 2011. Elvira then pursued their education further and obtained an Ingénieur Polytechnicien (X2011) and a Master of Science degree in Computational & Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique from 2011 to 2015. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Pau and Adour Countries from 2015 to 2018.
