Alex Gannon

Alex Gannon has extensive experience in project management and IT systems development, currently serving as Project Manager and Systems Development/Support Manager for Quartix since July 2012, in addition to being Director at Step Ahead Technology Limited since November 1995. Previous roles include Head of UK Corporate Systems - Development Manager at Societe Generale, where management of a multi-disciplinary team was a key responsibility, and Senior Analyst Programmer at Hambros Bank, focusing on critical financial systems. Early career highlights include a Senior Systems Engineer position at BAE Systems, contributing to avionics systems, and a foundation in engineering through a comprehensive apprenticeship at BNFL. Alex Gannon holds a PGCE in ICT & Computer Science from the University of Bath, a B Eng Hons in Engineering from Nottingham Trent University, and additional engineering qualifications from Wirral Metropolitan College.
