Jayren Teo is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Quest Ventures, a top venture capital firm in Asia. He works closely with startups to accelerate their growth through a combination of acceleration services and programmes.
Jayren is also Chief Innovation Officer at Codesurance, a technology solutions provider and venture builder for social good, and a Startup Scout for Amazon Web Services.
He is co-founder of the ASEAN Youth Organization, where its mission is to improve the social mobility of 10 million youths by 2025. AYO is recognised officially by the ASEAN Secretariat, and is now Southeast Asia’s largest ground-up non-profit youth organisation and development platform.
He is Chief Impact Officer at AYO Social Enterprise; Youth Councillor at ASEAN CIO Association; Board Member at Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild; Board Member at SAFRA Entrepreneurs’ Club; Board Member at JCI Singapore (Marina); and Advisory Committee Member at Edgefield Secondary School. He is also the founding president of EDGE, the national youth entrepreneurship community that is now a part of the Youth Wing of the Action Community for Entrepreneurship.
Among his many organising chairmanships and participations, Jayren is Singapore’s Country Host for Global Entrepreneurship Week; Singapore’s representative for Entrepreneurship World Cup; and global organiser for World Social Innovation Forum.
He attends startup events as a guest speaker and panelist. He is also a frequent host for international technology and startup delegations to Singapore.
Jayren is a cybersecurity major at the National University of Singapore. He has a Diploma in Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic where he was also a recipient of its Excellence Award for Outstanding Contributions. For leisure, he enjoys reading.
