Alice Lesser began their career in 2001 as a Librarian at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In 2002 they became a PhD student at Uppsala University, and in 2008 they were a R&D Consultant at Savantic AB. In 2009 they were a Lecturer at Högskolan i Gävle and an Engineer at Edgeware AB. Alice then moved to bwin Games AB as a Quantitative Analyst in 2010, and in 2012 they became an Application Engineer at Prover Technology. In 2016 they joined NetEnt as a Manager Game Mathematics and a Game Mathematician, and in 2021 they became the Head of Mathematics and Senior Game Mathematician at Quickspin.

Alice Lesser has a PhD in Mathematics with specialization in bioinformatics from Uppsala University, which they completed in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Fil. mag. from Stockholm University in 2001, having studied Mathematics and Computer Science.
