Lucy Smithwick-Eldred has a solid background in risk management and operations within the financial industry. Lucy started their career at Skandia as a Market Intelligence Analyst before moving on to become a Business Insight Analyst. Lucy then joined Skandia International as an Executive Officer within International Operations, where they oversaw cross-border business initiatives. Lucy later transitioned to Old Mutual Wealth Management as an International Risk Specialist, providing advisory support to the international business and assisting in risk management. Lucy subsequently joined Old Mutual Wealth UK as a UK Platform Risk Specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Risk for Quilter Investment Platform.
Lucy Smithwick-Eldred obtained their LLB degree in Law from the University of Southampton from 1994 to 1997. Lucy then pursued a MA degree in Criminal Justice at the same university from 1997 to 1998. Following that, they attended the College of Law, Guildford from 1998 to 1999, where they studied towards an LPC degree. In 2012, they completed the International Certificate in Risk Management (CIRM) from The Institute of Risk Management.
