QuiX Quantum
Jörn Epping has extensive work experience in the field of quantum technology and photonics. Jörn is currently the managing director and hardware R&D lead at QuiX Quantum GmbH since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the senior project manager at QuiX Quantum from September 2020 to December 2022.
Before joining QuiX Quantum, Jörn worked at LioniX International as a project manager and design engineer from January 2017 to September 2020. Jörn also worked at LioniX BV as a design engineer from October 2015 to December 2016.
Jörn started their career as a PhD researcher at the University of Twente in May 2011 and completed their research in September 2015.
Throughout their career, Jörn has demonstrated expertise in project management, design engineering, and quantum technology. Jörn has made significant contributions to the development of quantum technologies in various roles.
Jörn Epping completed their Master's degree in Physik from the University of Münster, from 2005 to 2011. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2015, they attained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from the University of Twente.
