Chaitanya Salaka

Chaitanya Salaka is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in platforms operations and engineering management. Currently serving as Director of Platforms Operations Engineering at Qumulo since April 2016, Chaitanya previously held the role of Senior Manager for Platforms. Prior to Qumulo, Chaitanya worked at Google as a Hardware Quality/TPM, where responsibilities included overseeing the quality assurance processes for major products such as the 3rd Generation Nest Thermostat. Additional experience includes a managerial position at EMC, leading a team to resolve manufacturing issues for the Isilon Storage Division, and earlier roles as an Electrical Engineer at MCC Computer Company and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Houston. Chaitanya holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications from Osmania University.
