Hui Guo

Hui Guo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They are currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Quora since July 2021. Prior to that, Hui Guo worked at North Carolina State University from 2015 to 2021, first as a Research Assistant under Dr. Munindar P. Singh, and later as a Teaching Assistant for various computer science courses. Hui Guo was recognized for their outstanding work as a Teaching Assistant in 2017.

In 2018, Hui Guo had an internship at EY as an AI Software Developer, where they focused on extracting key information from legal documents using machine learning techniques.

Before that, Hui Guo worked at East Carolina University from 2012 to 2014. They served as a Graduate Assistant, working on a cooperative research project between the Department of Biology and the Department of Computer Science. Their responsibilities included database creation and maintenance, as well as teaching assistant duties.

Hui Guo's work experience began in 2009 as an intern at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they stayed until 2012.

Overall, Hui Guo has gained expertise in machine learning, research, teaching, and database management throughout their career.

Hui Guo began their education at Tsinghua University in 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician. Hui completed this degree in 2009.

Following their undergraduate studies, Guo continued their education at Tsinghua University and obtained a second Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Economics. Hui pursued this degree from 2006 to 2009.

In 2012, Guo enrolled at East Carolina University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. Hui completed this program in 2014.

Finally, Guo attended North Carolina State University from 2015 to 2021, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science.
