Peggy Liu has a strong background in tax management and consulting. Peggy is currently the Head Of Tax at Quora, where they oversee tax compliance, risk mitigation, and international expansion. Peggy is also responsible for ensuring compliance related to the Remote First initiative and works cross-functionally with the FinOps, People, and Legal teams. Prior to their role at Quora, Peggy worked as a Tax Consultant for a contractor in 2018 and as a Senior Tax Manager at Autodesk in 2017. Peggy spent a significant portion of their career at Google, where they held the roles of Tax Manager from 2013 to 2017 and Senior Tax Analyst from 2011 to 2013. Before joining Google, Peggy worked as a Tax Manager at Trimble Navigation and as a Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP from 2004 to 2010.
Peggy Liu earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Peggy attended this institution from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in April 2012.
