Rebecca Mayrhofer

Division Coordinator at QuTech

Rebecca Mayrhofer currently serves as the Division Coordinator at QuTech, overseeing operational and financial planning within the quantum internet division. Previous experience includes roles as Programme Manager at BenevolentAI, where Rebecca contributed to AI-based drug discovery, and at the University of Southampton, where management of large-scale, collaborative projects focused on environmentally friendly manufacturing technologies and non-invasive medical devices was key. Earlier positions involved project management at A*STAR, overseeing significant industry-aligned projects in medical and engineering sectors, and as a researcher at the Singapore BioImaging Consortium, which included managing a collaboration with Bayer for liver cancer drug development. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
