Jayakar Katika

Jayakar Katika has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jayakar started their career at Tata Consultancy Services, where they held various roles including Performance Analysis and Project Lead at Nokia Meego, Technical Support and Quality Assurance Engineer for NSN Flexiserver and POC, Software Design Engineer for Nokia iSN, and Test Automation Specialist for Lucent/CSG Arbor Billing Product.

After working at Tata Consultancy Services, Jayakar joined DispatchTrack as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, they worked on server-side development in Ruby on Rails and front-end web development in Backbone JS and jQuery.

Following their time at DispatchTrack, Jayakar became self-employed and worked as a freelancer in web development. Jayakar also did work in financial markets, analyzing historical data and fund management.

Currently, Jayakar is employed at Qvantel as a Senior Software Developer. Jayakar is responsible for working on a cloud-based BSS product that provides solutions for telecom operators globally. Jayakar has played a significant role in leading a major digital transformation of BSS for multiple telecom operators.

Jayakar Katika earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Jayakar attended this university from 1995 to 1999.
