Rick McElvain has a vast experience in the field of structural design and documentation. Starting in 1987 at Caruso Turley Scott Inc., Rick worked closely with engineers to interpret design intent. Moving on to Paul Koehler Associates, Rick took on CAD management duties. At Arnold and O'Sheridan Inc., Rick expanded their role to include security design. Currently at raSmith since August 2014, Rick is responsible for preparing structural documents and managing BIM for structural design and documentation processes. Rick holds a Drafting Technologies Certificate from THE PHOENIX INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.
