Joseph Escobedo is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as the GIS Manager at R.G. Miller | DCCM since June 2023. Previously, Joseph worked as the GIS Development Lead at EXP from May 2013 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading GIS and .NET application projects, coordinating software development, and managing data projects using Agile methodology. Prior to that, Joseph was the GIS Senior Analyst for the City of Mesquite, Texas, from May 2004 to May 2013, managing geodatabases and training new GIS technicians. Joseph's early experience includes a role as a HUES GIS Lab Student Assistant. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geographic Information Systems from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Certificate in Technology Project Management from Rice University.
