Gordon R. Scobie, P.Eng. has a comprehensive work experience in the field of transportation engineering. Gordon started their career at Parsons Corporation in 2008, where they gained experience managing municipal transportation projects from planning to completion. Gordon was responsible for preparing proposals and budgets, tracking progress, and liaising with clients and the City of Ottawa. Additionally, they mentored and trained junior staff.
In 2016, Gordon joined Novatech Engineers, Planners & Landscape Architects as a Transportation Engineer for a brief period before moving to CIMA+. At CIMA+, they worked as a Project Manager, specializing in transportation, with a focus on completing Transportation Impact Assessments and providing technical input for various roadway designs and environmental assessments.
In 2020, Gordon joined J.L. Richards & Associates Limited as a Transportation Engineer. Gordon continued to contribute their expertise in this role until May 2023.
Currently, Gordon is serving as a Project Manager and Transportation Lead at R.V. Anderson Associates Limited, further showcasing their leadership abilities and technical expertise in the transportation field.
Gordon R. Scobie, P.Eng. pursued their education at Carleton University, where they obtained a degree in Civil Engineering. In addition, they have obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario.
