Michael Dever

Michael Dever has a long and varied work experience. In 2009, they worked as a Software Development Engineer (Intern) at Amazon.com. In 2010, they were a Doctoral Researcher at Dublin City University, where they investigated program transformation techniques. In 2011, they were a Research Intern at IBM. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Waratek as a Software Security Engineer, where they developed a client for an automated Runtime Application Self Protection verification suite and assisted with the development of the corresponding server. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Showoff.ie as a Platform Architect and Senior Developer. In 2019, they worked at Analytics Fire as a Senior Full Stack Developer. In 2020, they founded HappyTeams. Currently, they are a Senior Software Developer at R-Zero.

Michael Dever obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Program Transformation from Dublin City University in 2015, after completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) Computer Applications in Computer Science from the same university in 2010. Michael also has certifications from Udemy in RxJs In Practice (June 2019), Understanding CouchDB: Learn Basic & Advanced NoSQL Skills (April 2019), Understanding Typescript (April 2019), and Docker Mastery (March 2019).
