Johan Vermeij

Johan Vermeij is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and IT management across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Tech Lead at Rabobank since June 2021, Johan oversees a digital platform foundation, enabling around 200 teams to develop and deploy software efficiently. Previously held roles include IT Lead for Rabobank's online presence, Manager Online at ONVZ managing agile web development teams, and Manager Data Management at ONVZ overseeing over 20 employees in data and information management. Johan's background also includes significant tenure at ING Nederland, where roles ranged from Manager Datalake and Business Intelligence to Manager Platform Engineering and Manager of the Software Factory, leading teams in software development and infrastructure automation. Early career experiences include Oracle consulting and office ICT support, contributing to a diverse skill set in technology and management.
