Boukje Dijkstra

Boukje Dijkstra is a seasoned professional in the field of addiction medicine, currently serving as a research coordinator and senior consultant at Novadic-Kentron since February 1999. Boukje has extensive experience as a research psychologist and PhD, focusing on rapid detoxification methods within addiction centers in the Netherlands, culminating in a thesis on the effectiveness of these practices in general settings, in collaboration with the Nijmegen Institute for Scientists Practitioners in Addiction at Radboud University. Additionally, Boukje holds the position of principal lecturer for postdoctoral training programs in addiction medicine at Radboudumc and clinical psychology at Radboud University Nijmegen, while actively leading as the managing director and post-doctoral researcher at NISPA since May 2012. Earlier nursing roles were conducted at Reinier van Arkel groep and a detoxification unit, complemented by advanced education, including a PhD from Radboud University and an MSc from Maastricht University.
