Ilse van de Wijgert

Ilse van de Wijgert is currently an Arts in opleiding tot anesthesioloog (AIOS) at Radboudumc, starting in January 2024. Previously, Ilse served as a Physician-Researcher in Anesthesiology at Sint Maartenskliniek from December 2020 to December 2023, focusing on the prediction and prevention of perioperative pain in lumbar spine surgery as a PhD candidate. Prior experience includes roles as an Arts-assistent in Intensive Care at Radboudumc, where Ilse contributed to quality and safety initiatives, and as a Research Student at Maastricht UMC+, conducting research on traumatic brain injury. Ilse has held various positions in clinical and leadership capacities across multiple healthcare facilities, and completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Maastricht University.
