Laurens de Groot

Laurens de Groot is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical informatics and health information exchange. Since October 2015, Laurens has held various leadership positions at the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Klinische Informatica, contributing to the foundation of the professional association. At Radboudumc, Laurens serves as Team Leader of Beeld & Zorg and a Klinisch Informaticus, focusing on the development of health information exchange roadmaps and advising on the implementation of electronic health records. Additionally, Laurens has been involved in several projects aimed at enhancing digital communication in healthcare and has managed a photography business since 2004. Educational qualifications include a Post Master in Klinische Informatica from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and multiple degrees in Communication Studies and Commercial Information Technology.
