Richard L. (Jesper) Witkam currently serves as an AIOS in Anesthesiology and MD-PhD candidate at Radboudumc, focusing on neuromodulation therapies for chronic pain, particularly through the application of artificial intelligence. The research aims to enhance understanding of treatment outcomes and identify predictive variables, with a specific emphasis on Spinal Cord Stimulation for Failed Back Surgery Syndrome. Additional roles include ANIOS in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, crisis team supporter during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a Senior First-Aid & CPR instructor.
