Rashi Iyer

Rashi Iyer, CMP has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Starting with their role as a Communications Editor at Longwoods Publishing, they spearheaded the redesign of the corporate website and increased monthly unique visits by 30%. Rashi then transitioned to the Government of Ontario, where they served as a Communications Officer, responsible for writing various communications materials and implementing communications plans for ministry initiatives.

In 2007, Rashi joined CIBC Mellon as a Manager of Corporate Communications, leading communications functions for employees and clients across the organization. Afterwards, they joined Public Health Ontario as a Senior Communications Specialist, leading change communications plans to revamp public health laboratories for the province.

In 2011, Rashi took on the role of Director of External Relations at the College of Business, Ohio University. In this position, they developed and executed internal and external communications plans to promote the college's distinction and advised the Dean and Board on strategic decisions.

Currently, Rashi holds the position of SVP of Corporate Communications at Radian, leading the communications initiatives for the company.

Rashi Iyer, CMP has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from the University of Delhi, which was obtained from 1996 to 1999. Rashi then pursued a M.Sc. Communication Studies in Communication and Media Studies from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completing it from 1999 to 2001. Rashi later obtained a Post-graduate certificate in Corporate communications from Seneca Polytechnic from 2002 to 2003. Rashi also attained a Certificate in Internal Communications from Melcrum in 2012. Additionally, Rashi holds certifications in Project Management Professional, obtained in 2008, and the Canadian Securities Course, acquired in 2005.
