Ioana Knopf

Ioana Knopf is the CEO and Founder of Arrakis Materials Inc., leading innovative technology to convert CO2 into valuable solid minerals, securing over $400k in funding. Additionally, Knopf serves as Chief Science Officer at Radical Catalyst, while previously participating in the Activate Fellowship, which supports impact entrepreneurs. Before founding Arrakis Materials, Knopf held multiple roles at Poly6 Technologies, including Director of Materials Development, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and acquisition by Consolidated Precision Products. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA/MS in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Through extensive experience in materials development and entrepreneurship, Knopf has established a strong foundation in addressing critical environmental challenges.
