Jae Nguyen has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Jae started their career as a Sales Manager at SoHo Fashion, Inc in 2001, where they were responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and managing employees. In 2002, they worked as a Loan Administrator at Major Financial Inc, processing mortgage and business loan documents and setting up office networks. In 2003, they briefly worked as a Sales representative at One Japanese Restaurant, suggesting new menus and achieving high per-night sales. Jae then transitioned to the technology industry, working as a Senior Software Developer at Motorola from 2006 to 2009, developing and testing embedded programs on WIMAX network and receiving the BRAVO! award twice. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Senior Software Developer at Motorola Inc, where they developed and tested embedded programs on LTE network infrastructure. After that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at 4DK Technologies, Inc. from 2012 to 2014, responsible for end user testing and production testing. In 2015, they joined Radius Networks Inc. as a QA Engineer. Besides their technology career, they have also been involved in entrepreneurship. In 2010, they founded Wedding Photolosophy, a wedding photography business serving the Chicago area. Additionally, they have been fulfilling the role of a wife and mother in the Nguyen Household since 2010.

Jae Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005.
