Blanca Fernandez

Blanca Fernandez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego since October 2021, where responsibilities include providing assessment, interventions, support, and case management as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Social Worker, offering individual and family counseling during difficult medical situations, and as an Associate Clinical Counselor at the HOPE Program, addressing relationship and mental health issues. Additional roles involve educational and leadership positions, including Education Coordinator and Lead Preschool Teacher, along with advising high school students on college readiness through the TRiO Outreach Program. Blanca holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UC San Diego.
