Raumati Barbara has a diverse work experience in sales, marketing, and management roles. Raumati started their career as a Product Manager and Team Leader at Flight Centre in 2006 and worked there until 2009. Raumati then served as the Sales & Marketing Manager at The Pearl South Pacific Resort from 2009 to 2010. Following that, they held the position of General Manager at Global BedBank Ltd from 2010 to 2011. Raumati was responsible for managing multiple businesses and staff members within the company. From 2011 to 2020, Raumati worked as the Director of Coconuts Marketing, where they provided sales and marketing representation for hotels, resorts, and tours in the South Pacific region. In 2020, they joined Refresh Renovations as a Project Manager until 2022. Raumati also worked as a Marketing Strategist at Max Marketing NZ for a few months in 2022. Currently, Raumati is serving as the Group Director of Sales & Marketing at Raffe Hotels & Resorts.
Raumati Barbara obtained a Master's degree in Tourism from the University of Otago between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing & Tourism at Auckland University of Technology from 1996 to 2000.
