Achu Wilson

Achu Wilson is a skilled roboticist with extensive experience in robotics and AI. Currently serving at the Boston Dynamics AI Institute since July 2023, Achu previously co-founded Sastra Robotics India in August 2013, where the focus was on developing robots that significantly reduce device testing time for clients. Academic contributions include work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from September 2021 to August 2023, concentrating on tactile sensing for industrial assembly tasks, and a Technical Associate role at the Indian Institute of Science, where Achu led a finalist team for the Kuka Innovation Award 2020. Experience also includes research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in optical-tactile sensor design, and earlier work as a Robotics Engineer at ASIMOV Robotics, developing interfaces and motion planners. Achu holds a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree from GEC Sreekrishnapuram.
