Alfred Rizzi is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at RAI Institute since October 2022. Prior to this role, Alfred held the position of Chief Scientist at Boston Dynamics from January 2006 to September 2022 and was a Senior Staff Roboticist at Google from February 2014 to February 2018. Alfred's academic career includes serving as an Associate Research Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from January 1996 to December 2005 and as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan from January 1994 to December 1995. Alfred began professional experience as Engineer II at Northrop Grumman from August 1986 to July 1988. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Yale University obtained between 1988 and 1994 and a ScB in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1986.
