David Perry

David Perry is an accomplished hardware engineering leader with extensive experience in product development and innovation. Currently serving as Hardware Engineering Lead at RAI Institute since January 2023, Perry previously held the role of Executive Director at Harvard Move Lab from July 2020 to December 2022, focusing on enhancing human performance and accessibility in various domains. Prior to that, Perry was a Staff Engineer at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, specializing in wearable robotic assistance systems. As Director of Product Development Strategy and Lead Engineer at Smithwise, Perry guided numerous product development initiatives across medical and consumer sectors. Additionally, Perry founded OsmoPure, which created personal water filters for humanitarian use and achieved recognition in the MassChallenge startup accelerator. David Perry holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
