Erica Lin

Erica Lin is a highly experienced professional in the field of machine learning and materials science. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Engineering Manager at The AI Institute since August 2023, Erica has previously held key positions at Sync Computing as a Staff Algorithm Researcher and Lead Algorithm Engineer from April 2020 to August 2023, and at Surgemotion as a Data Science and Algorithms Consultant from January 2019 to April 2020. Earlier, Erica worked at Sunfolding as the Manager of Product Reliability and as a Materials Scientist from July 2015 to September 2018. Erica's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University. Research endeavors during graduate studies involved bio-inspired design and computational chemistry, contributing to clean energy initiatives.
