Louis Renaux

Louis Renaux is a skilled roboticist and machine learning engineer currently employed at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute since August 2023. Previously, Louis worked as a deep learning researcher at Butterfly Network, Inc. from November 2021 to February 2023, where significant contributions included developing a top-performing segmentation deep learning model for ultrasound probes and leading the technical development of an FDA submission. Prior to that, Louis served as a machine learning engineer at VideaHealth, where an FDA-approved deep learning object detection model for pathology detection was developed. Louis also gained research experience as a machine learning researcher at Berkeley DeepDrive. Louis holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as multiple degrees from Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, including a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree.
