Marc Raibert

Marc Raibert is the Executive Director of The AI Institute, a position held since April 2022. As the founder of Boston Dynamics and a member of its Board of Directors, Marc has been with the company since November 1992, during which time Marc served as Chief Executive Officer. Marc's academic career includes a professorship in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 1986 to May 1995 and an associate professorship at Carnegie Mellon University from January 1981 to December 1985. Earlier experience includes work as a member of the technical staff at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Marc holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
