Rafael Schloming

Rafael Schloming is a seasoned roboticist and cloud engineer currently working at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute since September 2023. Prior to this role, Rafael co-founded Ambassador Labs, serving as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect, and held the position of Senior Principal Software Engineer from December 2014 to January 2023. Rafael's earlier experience includes a tenure at Red Hat from 2002 to November 2014 as Principal Software Engineer, where significant contributions included co-authoring the AMPQ 1.0 specification and spearheading technical engagements within the AMQP community. Rafael's career began as a Software Architect at ArsDigita from 2000 to 2002. Rafael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1995 and 1999.
