Shenli Yuan

Shenli Yuan is a Research Scientist currently at The AI Institute since December 2023, following a role as Senior Research Engineer at SRI International from April 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included significant contributions as a Robotics Research Engineer. Prior experience includes an internship at Alibaba Group in 2018, focusing on tactile haptic interfaces and in-air gesture interactions, and an Audio Intern position at Samsung Electronics America. Shenli Yuan holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and a Master of Arts in Music, Science & Technology from Stanford University, along with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from both Purdue University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
