Marios Fournarakis

Marios Fournarakis is a Senior Staff AI Research Scientist at Rain, focusing on accelerated and power-efficient LMM inference and AI/HW Co-Design since September 2023. Previously, Marios worked at Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer and Senior Engineer, conducting research on neural network quantization, mixed-precision quantization, efficient on-device training and inference, and in-memory computing from June 2019 to September 2023. Marios also gained experience as a Computer Vision Research Intern at Niantic, Inc., and served as a Structural Engineer with Arup's Advanced Technology and Research Group. Marios's educational background includes an MSc in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning from UCL, an MEng in Structural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, among other qualifications.
