Wayne Cheng

Wayne Cheng has a long and varied work experience beginning in 2004 when they worked as a Computer Technician, Resident Computer Associate, and Student Technician at Adelphi University. In 2006 they became the Webmaster for The Ticker. From 2009 to 2016 they worked at Baruch College as a Web Developer, and during this time they wrote test-driven PHP/JS with MVC, code Section 508 compliant Responsive designs in HTML5/CSS3/SCSS/JS, and evangelized the use of TDD, unit-testing, design patterns, and version control. In 2016 they joined delivery.com as a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer. Wayne worked with PHP, Bash, Javascript (Node), and wrote plugins in Ruby/Java/PHP. In 2018 they joined Discovery Inc as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. In 2021 they began working as an Engineer at Rainbow and as a Senior Software Engineer at HUMAN.

Wayne Cheng attended Adelphi University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a BBA in Finance and Music. Wayne then attended Baruch College from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a BBA in Finance and Mathematics.
