Joe is a Partner at Raine. Joe joined the Firm in 2010 and has worked on principal and advisory transactions across the media, entertainment and technology sectors, helping lead Raine’s music and live entertainment efforts. While at Raine, Joe has worked on a variety of transactions including the sale of AVL Digital (CD Baby) to Downtown Music Publishing, the capital raise for music label / publisher Hitco Entertainment, SoftBank’s acquisition of Sprint, various SoftBank investments in the Indian tech sector, the sale of DramaFever to Warner Brothers, and the sale of Secret Sounds to Live Nation. Joe has also helped lead a number of Raine’s investments, including SoundCloud, Blackbird Presents and C3 Presents (sold to Live Nation). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of SoundCloud and Blackbird Presents.
Prior to Raine, Joe worked at merchant bank Grail Partners where he advised and invested in asset management and financial technology companies.
Joe has a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
