João Paulo (JP) França has extensive experience in information technology, particularly within the fuel and energy sectors. Since May 2011, João Paulo has worked at Raízen, where responsibilities include exploring new technologies for the advancement of Shell Box, as well as serving as Group Product Manager for the app-based product that enables automatic fuel payments at Shell gas stations in Brazil and Argentina. Prior to Raízen, João Paulo was employed at Shell from March 2001 to May 2011, achieving significant cost reductions in point of sale solutions and managing the integration of fleet management systems. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Electronics and Computing Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a forthcoming postgraduate degree in Digital Transformation from CCEC - PUC-Rio.
