Greg Thomas

Greg Thomas currently serves as EVP and Head of Group Strategy & Corporate Development at RAKBANK since July 2022, after holding the role of EVP and Head of Corporate Strategy. Prior experience includes leading Strategy & Business Management for Global Banking Coverage at First Abu Dhabi Bank and supporting the CEO at The Abraaj Group. Greg's background also includes significant roles at Lloyds Bank, where responsibilities ranged from managing corporate client relationships in Industrials and TMT sectors to serving as Chief of Staff for Transaction Banking. Greg began a professional career with placements in graduate schemes at Lloyds Banking Group and as a Student Economist at Capital Economics. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking, Finance & Management from Loughborough University.
